Our Experience
Because I'm a jewelry minimalist who favors single, delicate chains, I've learned (the hard way) to keep my neck unadorned while Zelda is small. It's fun to have a baby safe go-to accessory, and she uses the pendant not only as a teether, but as something to touch while she nurses, cutting down on the dreaded twiddling that often plagues nursing mothers of toddlers. The sturdy construction stood up to much yanking by my enthusiastic 
girl, as well as plenty of munching while she worked on her incisors. I was skeptical of the jade finish but love how bright, shiny and realistic it looks, as well as how seamlessly it blends in to my mostly neutral wardrobe. A 21 month old with a near full set of teeth has barely put a mark in the tough silicone, so I'm confident that it would last from the gummy first stages of teething until the inclinations to gnaw subside.
